Hostess Petra Pernstich tells the story
My family has now been running the Bed & Breakfast Tirolerin for three generations. The beginning, as is so often the case, was a happy coincidence.
In 1952 my father Josef Pernstich, known as Pepi, was having dinner at the Plattenhof inn in Söll. There he met a nice couple from Germany who were looking for a place to stay for the night. Without further ado, Pepi took them home to his farmhouse, where there were cows, vineyards and orchards. In the following years, my grandmother and father rented out a few rooms privately.
Finally, in 1956, my family laid the foundation stone for the “Pension Parkblick”. Grandma Mitzi cooked, father Pepi took care of the service and the guests came again and again because of the cosy ambience.
In 1977/78 we built the three-star “Tirolerhof” hotel, with more rooms, a dining room and a swimming pool.
From 1994 to 2015 we continuously expanded the premises: we added a lift, a covered swimming pool, a terrace and many other things for a pleasant holiday.
In 2016/2017 we had the hotel renovated. The “Tirolerhof” hotel became the Bed & Breakfast Tirolerin, combining a new concept and tried and tested traditions. Our guests enjoy first-class regional products and authentic South Tyrolean hospitality in a cosy ambience.
Is that all with the story of the B&B Tirolerin?
Quite the reverse! Guests can look forward to many more highlights, because we continue to develop from year to year.
...we want to make your holiday unforgettable. You’ll be surprised!
