Hiking, explore Tramin step by step from the bottom of the valley up to the local mountain, the Roen. Immerse yourself in narrow streets and exquisite vineyards, climb through mixed forest to the Gummererhof and climb through coniferous forest to the Überetscher chalet in the shadow of Tramin’s local mountain. Still not enough? A via ferrata leads you directly to the top, or you can take the indirect, leisurely hiking trail over the “Malga Roen” up to the Roen. When you get there, a view par excellence awaits: gaze east to the wonderful Dolomites, and west to the mighty Brenta group.
Or maybe you’d prefer a leisurely lakeside hike down in the valley? Lake Caldaro and the two Monticolo lakes offer numerous opportunities for walkers and pleasure hikers to explore the surroundings on foot.
Attracted by the world-famous Dolomites? No problem! It’s only 40 minutes’ drive to the valley station of the Alpe di Siusi cable car, from where you can conquer the dreamlike mountain world of the Dolomites.
